It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went over three years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has accomplished all there is.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, reclaiming their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batsmen to maintain a record if not provided the opportunity.

"An opportunity to go out there and lock in a contest with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, kind of motivated me," said Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

Once she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the assurance to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, if we do, we know we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last competing nations at this tournament want to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this triumph succeeding win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
